Angela Telli

Angela was born in 2000 in Zurich, Switzerland. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich in 2023, where she also completed her Master’s degree with distinction in January 2026.

During her Master's studies, Angela undertook an exchange semester at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). She specialized in sleep technologies during her semester and Master's thesis projects at the SMS Lab, investigating wearable sleep staging and heart/breathing rate estimation for sleep apnea applications.

Angela continued her journey with the SMS Lab as a PhD student in April 2026. Her research centers on closed-loop sleep interventions using the Somnomat rocking bed to enhance sleep quality and modulate sleep disorders.
