David Rode

David completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETHZ in 2020 and 2023.

As a research assistant he contributed to developing a new optical measurement technique for quantifying shear in fluid flows. He completed his internship in the aerodynamics department of Porsche in Weissach.

In May 2023 he joined the SMS lab as a PhD student.
David's research focuses on Motion Capturing and Pose Estimation with markerless systems and their use in therapeutic settings.
