New Gel for Birth Facilitation

With a testing setup we investigated the friction between tissues with and without gel under birth-like conditions. The result was that the gel halved the friction forces. The gel was now tested with 183 women who delivered for the first time. Results are promising and could lead to a broader use of gels during birth.
