Leg Prosthesis Record Races
A transfemoral limb difference above the knee, e.g., due to an amputation or a congenital disorder, may lead to significant challenges in personal mobility. Current micro-processor controlled transfemoral leg prostheses can control the mechanical properties of their joints and make gait safer and more efficient.
In this record race the pilot tries to beat the time record in a stair ascending and descending task.
